McKay’s Wild Blueberry Farmstand
Tucked away in Pennfield Ridge, McKay’s is a little roadside stop known for its wild blueberries and all the good things made from them.
During blueberry season, the bright blue stand fills with fresh-picked berries, blueberry pies, muffins, jams, and other homemade treats. It has become one of those familiar stops along the road that feels like a little piece of summer in southern New Brunswick.
Wild blueberries are a true part of the landscape here, growing naturally across the province and forming an important part of New Brunswick’s agricultural history.
For me, McKay’s is one of those places that feels unmistakably New Brunswick — the bright blue building, the hand-painted signs, the flowers out front, and the promise of something delicious inside.
