Luna Moth — Actias luna
The luna moth is a large, pale green moth known for its long hindwing tails and distinctive eyespots.
Its caterpillars feed on the leaves of several deciduous trees, including birch, willow, maple, and walnut.
Adult luna moths do not feed. They live only briefly, relying on energy stored from the caterpillar stage while they search for mates.
